This guide will show you how to reset your password for your Access site for the Health Coach Institute.

To begin, please navigate to the login page located at https://access.healthcoachinstitute.com/. From here, click on the “Set/Reset Password” button.

This will bring you to a space where you can type in the email address associated with your account. If you type that in and click “Request New Password”, an email will be sent to your account with further instructions.

Upon clicking “Request New Password”, you will be shown a message confirming its success and informing you that instructions have been sent to your inbox. If you do not receive this message, please try again, confirming the spelling and email address is accurate.

If you still have any problems, please contact support at support@healthcoachinstitute.com.

Now go to your email inbox and you will see an email with the title “Replacement login information for (Username) at HCI Access”.  If you open this email it will give you some brief instructions and contain a link that you can go ahead and click.

The link will take you to a page where you can create a temporary password. This password will expire, can be used only once, and needs to be amended once you are logged in, you can see these steps further down. Once you have entered your new, temporary password twice you can click “Log in”.

Once you are logged in, we now need to create your new, permanent password.

From the main dashboard screen you will need to "Settings". To go to the Settings page, kindly click the photo icon  on the upper right hand corner of the page and select Settings.

Note: You can also go to Settings via your Profile page as seen below. From here, simply click the "Profile Settings".

This will take you to a page where you can edit your password and email information. To edit, you must first enter your current temporary password in the top field where it says "Current Password".

To change your password, you need to enter a new one twice to confirm it. When entering a new password, you will be given a "Strength" indicator. Please try to make it as strong as possible by using lower and upper case letters, numbers, punctuation etc.

When changing your password, you will get a small confirmation message that they match.

Once you have entered your updates, you now need to save these changes. To do that, simply click the “Save” button.

Clicking this will save the changes and a message will pop up stating that your profile has been updated.
