Q: Have You Signed Your Terms and Conditions?
In order to have the course added to your Access platform, you must have signed the terms and conditions sent to you via the company HelloSign. If you do not sign these then you will not have access to the course. If you have any questions about your terms, please contact your Clarity Coach. If you need your terms sent to you again so you can sign them, please contact your Orientation Coach or support@healthcoachinstitute.com.
Q: Do You Understand Your Invoice/Billing?
If you are on a payment plan with us or through a third party financing company, ensure you know how and when your payments will process. Also, be certain you understand the breakdown of your total bill. If you are unsure of any of this, please contact your Clarity Coach.
Q: What Emails Should You Expect?
You should expect to receive two main emails. The first (Welcome to Become a Health Coach!) will be sent as soon as you sign up and contains information on your terms and conditions, bonus events, your welcome kit, and your Access login information.
The second (Essential BHC Resources) contains information on your class Facebook group, certificate requirements, coaching demo lounges, Skills Labs, and Q&A sessions. This email is sent as soon as you sign your terms and conditions.
Q: How Does the Course Get Released?
The course is released on Mondays at 8am EST/5am PST. Sometimes the course may be released earlier if possible, but you need not contact us until after this time if you do not have the new lessons updated. Please note: you cannot move ahead in the program and cannot have materials released to you ahead of time.
Q; How Long Do I Have to Complete?
You have one year from the start date of your course to complete the six month’s worth of BHC material. Should you fail to complete the requirements in this year, you will have the Retake option available to you (please contact support@healthcoachinstitute.com for details).
Q: What Are Office Hours/Demo Coaching Lounge?
Office Hours are monthly calls with our co-founders Carey and Stacey and occasionally one of our highly qualified Success Coaches. You simply call in and have the chance to contribute and ask questions on these 60 minute calls. They are recorded for you and linked on your Access calendar. You will receive further information on these in a forthcoming email and can find a guide HERE.
If you would like to volunteer to be coached on the call, you can do so by filling out this form. Please note you that if you are chosen, you will not be notified prior to the call, so if you fill out the form, please be present for the call!
Q: What Are Skills Labs?
Skills Labs are an important part of your journey with us in the BHC program. They are weekly workshop lessons to be completed with other students in BHC in which you practice the skill you learned in that week's lesson. You can connect in a myriad of ways; information will be sent out in your Essential Resources email. They will give you an opportunity to experience being the coach and the client on that week’s topic. They typically last 60-90 minutes. Q: When Do I Get Pillar 4, ANHC, and Become a Life Coach?
Pillar 4 will be released to you during the week of Pillar 2 Week 6. It may not be uploaded that Monday of lesson release, but rest assured it will be there that week. All 3 of the BHC Advanced Nutrition for Health Coaches will be released to you within one month of you having completed your BHC course.
Q: How Do I Claim My HCI Live Ticket?
Upon enrolling for BHC you receive a free ticket for our HCI Live Events. These are non-transferable and exclusive to you as the student. One must be used within one year of your original course enrollment start date. To claim your ticket, simply make a seat deposit using the link in any of your event invitation emails (these will be sent to you leading up to the event). This deposit guarantees your spot at the event. Following your registration and attendance at the event, you will receive a refund of this full deposit amount within 6 weeks of the event ending.
